When did I start roasting coffee?
At first, it was such a hassle (don't tell me not to do it!), so I roasted the beans without sorting them.
I eventually realized that wouldn't do, so I started picking out defective beans, but gradually I began to cut corners.
Lately, I only remove peaberries, small undeveloped beans, and moldy defective beans.
My son and daughter used to help me with it, which was fun for them.
