Farm work

This is my sixth year working in the organic garden.

To work in harmony with nature, it's important to adjust your approach according to seasonal changes, such as temperature fluctuations and insect outbreaks.

The people around me are mostly experienced, retired folks who usually have plenty of time in the mornings, so they get a lot done quickly. Recently, I haven't been able to go during my breaks, so I'm always falling behind.

Despite that, I broke a sweat again today.

A few days ago, I severely pruned the kumquat branches that had grown too tall to reach, but new shoots are already sprouting everywhere. I can really feel the strength of life.

And as often happens, I received some turnips from my neighbor.

I was told, "You can pick this lettuce yourself when you leave," but I completely forgot. That's also a common occurrence.
