There are too many taro, so I'm digging them up little by little each week.
Growth has been good this year.

I received chayote from my neighbor in the next field.
When I tried to give taro in return, they said, "We also have a huge harvest and are drying them, so we don't need any." I gratefully accepted them.
I receive far more from others than I give.

The magnificent sweet potatoes harvested the other day were bartered for kiwis with my neighbors, so now it's time to deal with the rather sad-looking sweet potatoes.
These are fried sweet potatoes, which became quite a favorite in Ireland.

Did I misjudge the quantity, or rather, the large harvest was processed all at once and just kept growing.

Even the sad-looking taro were fried with them, making an incredible amount.

I've eaten too much yesterday and today.
