While "nigiri" has become a global favorite when it comes to sushi, there are still many older types of sushi that remain.
I'm really drawn to the wisdom of preservation that has been passed down through generations.
I think the antibacterial properties of bamboo leaves could be used in many more situations.

The packaging is also made of wood, and the wrapping is paper and paper string.

Speaking of bamboo leaves, I recalled an article I saw previously (in 2019) about supermarkets in Thailand starting to use traditional banana leaf packaging. Years have passed since then, and it strikes me again that Japan's progress, despite all the talk about sustainability, is slow.
In the past, there were bento boxes in paper containers and takoyaki on paper plates, but plastic materials have completely taken over.
