There's a food from Indonesia called satay.
I'm not sure about the exact definition, but my general understanding is that it's grilled meat on a skewer, typically chicken served with a peanut-based sauce.

I really liked it in Singapore a long time ago, and bought some sauce to bring back, but it molded quickly, and I haven't been inclined to buy it again since.
Recently, after a conversation at the dinner table following the peanut harvest, I spontaneously bought some peanut butter.
I only remember eating it once or twice as a child, so it was more of a trial run.
Early one weekend morning, as I was hurriedly eating breakfast before a mountain hike, spreading this peanut butter on bread, the thought of satay suddenly crossed my mind.
I wondered if I could make something satay-like with it.
Being in good spirits, I decided to try it right away, so I picked up some chicken thighs on the way back from the mountains.
I seasoned the meat appropriately.
For the peanut butter, I added peanut oil, fried onions, and a little soy sauce that the peanuts had been soaking in.

It felt a bit too watery because I added too much water, so I disguised it with sesame seeds.

I forgot to take a picture of the finished dish, but it was definitely satay-like.
